Yes that’s right, the UK’s oldest and most famous university has most recently been crowned the best for a career in marketing and advertising. According to The University Guide published in The Guardian, Oxford came out on top with a 100% rating, a 90% rating for student satisfaction and 88% satisfaction rate for quality of the course. The south of England dominated the top five, with Warwick, Bath, City College and University College London making up the rest of the list. Scotland’s education institutes fared well, with six of the countries Universities in the top thirty. Their highest placed University was their oldest, St Andrews coming in seventh, whilst Strathclyde followed closely behind in ninth place. Glasgow came sixteenth, Heriot-Watt came 21st, Edinburgh 22nd and Robert Gordon 29th. Wales’ performance was quite dismal. Whilst the University of Cardiff grabbed eighteenth spot, the next institute to make it into the list was Bangor which came 76th, whilst Aberystwyth, famously the University used by HRH Prince of Wales came 88th.
