Amazon expresses interest in a UK insurance price comparison launch: The US giant is reportedly in talks with some of Europe’s leading insurance firms, with three separate industry sources telling Reuters they’ve been having discussions about the potential launch of a site and contributing products similar to and Gocompare.

Expedia signs 3-season sponsorship deal for UEFA Champions League: Mark Okerstrom, Expedia Group president and CEO, says: “There is no better sport than football to bring fans together around the world to follow their dreams of UEFA Champions League glory, and no better way to make that happen than through the power of travel.”

RBS looks to improve service after ranking bottom in a consumer survey: Consumers have scored it the worst bank for customer service, according to a new ranking based on customer recommendations by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Fewer than 49% of their customers were likely to recommend them.

Asda, M&S and Sainsbury’s join the move to make shopping more inclusive: The retail giants are among a number of brands that have signed up for ‘Purple Tuesday’, an initiative created to target making shopping more inclusive. It will take place on Tuesday 13th November.
